2012 Lent Appeal

The Whitechapel Mission is dedicated to providing a lifeline to the men and women caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds, and to see their lives transformed to hope, joy and lasting productivity.

 Its goal is to help people to help themselves, giving them the confidence they need to become independent, which they do through practical support and advice and by teaching them the life skills they need to succeed.

It believes that everyone deserves a chance, regardless of their background, race or religion.  The Mission is open every day of the year and each day helps as many as 300 homeless and vulnerable men and women.
