Our pattern of Sunday Worship and Christian education expresses the essential nature of all the church – that of a family or community, of all kinds and ages, belonging to one another in Christ.  In the togetherness to which Christ calls us, we worship One God and seek to discover the unity which He gives to the whole of life.

In the Methodist Church the minister and the laity have always shared the pastoral care of the church family.  Under our pastoral system, each member is linked to a house fellowship in the care of a group leader.  They are responsible for keeping in touch with members, for offering friendship and support as needed and for keeping the minister informed of any request for his pastoral care.  The fellowships meet monthly in members’ homes during the week following the second Sunday of the month.  These small groups are very important, especially in a large church, for getting to know one another, growing in Christian experience and developing a system of care.  Additionally, our pastoral care system is enhanced by our road stewards who personally deliver each edition of our church magazine 'The Link'.  Items for inclusion in The Link should be sent to the editor.
