Every year you consistently respond to our Annual Envelope Appeal with impressive generosity - your kindness and compassion making it possible for MHA to enhance the lives of thousands of elderly people being cared for in their residential homes.

This year, the money raised through our annual envelope collection will go principally to help fund projects concerned with Dementia Care.

Recently, in partnership with Bradford University, MHA developed a new specialist Dementia-training programme for the staff called 'The Person Inside'. They now have thirty two trained facilitators who will provide this training across Methodist Homes.

Since 2008, MHA has been using music therapy in this field and they have found that it has had a dramatic effect on residents, enabling them to communicate and engage with others.  Our money is vital to the financing of these projects.
