We pass on to you a message of Christian faith and hope.

The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the Gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.

Inspired by our Calling we aim:

* to increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love
* to help people to grow and learn as Christians through mutual support and care
* to be a good neighbour to people in need and to challenge injustice
* to make more followers of Jesus Christ

 
At Orpington Methodist Church,
we welcome everyone to our worship and witness of Christ our Lord.
We believe people are unique, created in the image of God,
and worthy to be treated with dignity and respect.
This is a central tenet of the Christian faith.
Christ-centred inclusion is radical
and particularly focused on those often marginalised by society.
As a member of the British Methodist Church,
under its constitutional provision, our church offers to do same sex marriages.
